Meet Lavinesh — Founder of Project HARVEST
Hi there! I’m Lavinesh — a PR guy turned pokok whisperer.
Once upon a press release, I was buried in emails, meetings, and media briefings. But somewhere between pitching stories and stress-eating nasi lemak with ayam goreng, I decided to ditch the rat race… for actual rats (and soil, and seeds, and sambal chillis).
That’s how Project KEBUN was born — a farming journey filled with labu manis, kari leaves, unexpected rainstorms, and a crash course in farm management. Even though the farm eventually had to shut down, I was left with something far more valuable: knowledge. And that knowledge needed somewhere to grow.
It blossomed into Project HARVEST — a new mission to help fellow Malaysians grow fruits, herbs, and vegetables with zero fluff and maximum fun.
Whether you’re living in a condo with a rebellious pandan or tending a backyard with dreams of durian, you’re in the right place.
“I believe growing your own food is a form of freedom — and every Malaysian deserves to taste it.”
— Lavinesh
Through practical tips, how-to guides, and the occasional gardening fail, my goal is to build a community of harvesters who don’t just scroll — we sow.
💡 My Mission
To help Malaysians unlock the joy (and income) of growing their own edible paradise — one pokok at a time.
🌱 My Vision
To grow Project HARVEST into the #1 home gardening and harvesting resource in Malaysia — and eventually build the LAVAGOD empire where great content, green thumbs, and big dreams collide.
P.S. My lime tree still ghosts me. If yours does too, welcome to the club. 🍋
