Calamansi, or limau kasturi, is one of the best fruit plants to grow at home in Malaysia because it is practical, familiar, and very useful in the kitchen. It fits naturally into local cooking and drinks, and it can do quite well in a home garden if given the right setup. A tidy plant with enough light, regular watering, and a suitable pot or planting space can slowly become fuller and more productive over time. Remove clearly damaged leaves or weak growth when needed, and make sure the plant is not left too crowded or neglected.
